Old is the New Green:
Historic Buildings with an Eco Edge
The Seattle Architecture Foundation is sponsoring three tours showcasing different approaches to historic preservation and green redevelopment. The designers, developers and visionaries responsible for the transformations of structures, ranging from a house of worship to a department store, will walk you through their projects and explain the balance of honoring the past with the energy efficient needs of the moment while looking ahead to future sustainability.

Tours are: The Sanctuary on March 11 at 11:30 a.m., Starbucks Center on May 26 at 11 a.m., and the Cobb and Skinner Buildings on July 21 at 11 a.m. Each tours last approximately 90 minutes

A series pass to all three tours is available at a discount: $50 in advance ($10 savings)
